Guiyang Olympic Sports Center Tennis Stadium
The steel structure of the project has a total weight of approximately 1,800 tons, using Q355B steel. The structural form is a venue-type supporting truss structure. The underground portion consists of a one-story basement, while the above-ground structure includes up to five stories in some areas. The highest point of the tennis stadium roof is at an elevation of 12.1 meters, while the highest point of the steel structure of the functional rooms on the right side reaches 21.3 meters. The maximum span is 50 meters, and the maximum plate thickness is 100 mm. Due to the location in the Karst topography of Guizhou, the construction posed significant challenges, and the project has strict quality requirements. It was awarded the National Quality Engineering Award.
