Statue of Unity (Sardar Patel Statue)
The Statue of Unity, designed with a height of 182 meters, is a colossal statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Upon completion, it became one of the tallest statues in the world. The entire statue is covered with copper plates over a steel frame, with high-strength bolts used for all connections between the steel frames. The total weight of the steel structure is approximately 1,400 tons, and it is constructed from multiple modular units. The project involves a wide variety of components, with high precision in fabrication, making it a highly challenging undertaking.
